Louis Fortin

Louis has been with SCORE for almost 10 years and acts as a product specialist for collection agencies and several major corporations in Canada. He consults, trains, develops agency staff and assists in the implementing processes within collection operations to improve performance, output and profitability. Louis is active in all major credit and collection associations in Canada and the US. He enjoys speaking at events, teaching and contributing to the advancement of recovery science and competency.

Louis has a wealth of knowledge and was introduced to delinquencies and recovery operations, while working at Equifax Canada. There he helped merge the company’s regional offices and consolidated outsourcing and corporate services.

Louis has also worked for the US-based insurance company Provident to plan and execute the operational merger and integration of two major insurance companies in Canada. Louis also developed a national support call centre in Burlington, Ontario.

Louis received a degree in Business Administration and Finance from Sherbrooke CEGEP in Quebec and a BA in Applied Psychology at York University's Glendon College.
