Richard Yap is Chief Operating Officer at SCORE Statistical Consulting, Canada's leading provider of statistical predictive models using credit bureau data. SCORE provides vendors and sellers with statistical models to determine the value and potential collection results from one-cycle delinquent accounts to purchased/sold portfolios. For the past six years, one of Richard's primary areas of focus has been on developing generic and customized account management, collections, and dormant debt scorecards using credit bureau data in Canada and the United States.

Richard has performed dormant debt portfolio evaluations for major Canadian financial institutions. He has also developed, implemented, and provided training on various strategic initiatives such as responder models, rule bases, credit bureau comparisons, and decision support systems for banks, retailers, auto lenders, collection agencies, debt purchasers/sellers, and insurance companies. Richard holds a BA from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
